When looking for a reliable and dependable company that specializes in garage door installation, it’s always best to locate a dealer who belongs to the IDA (International Door Association). These dealers are recognized for their knowledge and experience and, most importantly, they make their living by installing, selling and servicing garage door systems.
Often, the garage door is the largest moving part of a home or business. Improper garage door installation can result in dire consequences. Children, adults and pets can get trapped and seriously injured. Therefore, it is imperative to select the right company to install and maintain your garage door. - Insurance Coverage: You are entitled to ask for a copy of the dealer’s certificate of insurance. If they hesitate to comply with your request, this could be a negative sign.
- Financial Integrity: Even though this may be a sensitive issue, an honest, dependable garage door installation company won’t mind telling you about the financial stability of his company.
